This Is Week In Review for Nerdery Tech Content for July 29th to August 2nd.

This week we kick things off on K-Twin radio with the Cane & Company radio show tech segment discussing the new Chromecast device by Google – learn how this little $35 device will change how people are consuming media on the big screen.

We have a great interview on our weekly NerdCast, the Nerdery’s very own podcast (available on the blog and on iTunes) – We have an honest conversation with WordPress developer Sherman Bausch and discuss It’s strengths and weaknesses. You’ll find that it’s more that just a blogging platform.

This past Tuesday we had a PACKED chat room for our webinar on Prototyping with the Nerdery’s very own Scott Bromander and Fred Beecher. Get the inside scoop on prototyping, how and why you do it, and get some great examples of how they use it here at the Nerdery. A full recording is available for anybody that couldn’t make it to the live event. See the links below for the preview.

We close things off this week with a very cool opportunity – Senior PHP developer Nick LeGuillou is speaking at the MN science museum for a group of teens about the launch of the Sparticl project encouraging STEM participation around the country. Nick gets to share his role, how the tech works, and give an inside look into what is under the hood. Look for a future interview here on the blog about this great experience.

Next week we explore the Nerery UX apprenticeship program, a Podcast about WFH with several WFH employees, and the annoucenements for our upcoming Nerdery webinar series.
