Wine Tasting Event at The Nerdery

Whether you like wine or cheese or both, it’s likely that you dislike cancer. If any-to-all of these things ring true for you, please come to The Nerdery for a wine-tasting fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

This fundraiser is one of many events that Nerdery staff members have created in advance of the Light the Night Walk on September 26th at Target Field in Minneapolis. As a company, we’re doing this in support of our friend and colleague Bill Brown, who lost his son and wife in the last year, both to leukemia.

We’ve done a handful of fundraising activities about our team’s progress en route to our goal of raising $10,000 in support of families affected by cancer:

The Nerdery’s Wine Tasting Event ~ Tuesday, September 21st, 6:30 – 8:30pm

While Merlot and Chardonnay have ruled the roost the last several years, the world of wine has so much more to offer. Discover some up and coming wines from around the world that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, all while learning the proper way to appreciate a wine to its fullest.

There will also be a silent auction of The Nerdery’s favorite selection of wines.

Tickets are $25 each / $45 per couple. Reservations requested but not required. There are two ways to RSVP:

RSVP & pay online: click “Donate to ‘Team” and include the words “Wine Tasting” in the comment section on the donation page.
RSVP via email and pay at the door with cash or check (made payable to LLS)
