Hah, such an enthusiastic youth! For the record, I'm not suggesting people behave badly. There's value in understanding how Google decides what's relevant. When you take 50 kids that have never thought about this kind of thing before and give them terms that previously didn't exist in Google their sites, collectively, become the internet in microcosm. Lots of learning.

This is really awesome - I didn't expect such a wonderful writeup from you guys! Personally, I'm very white-hat in my SEO efforts for the "real" websites I manage (www.hostasdirect.com and www.rosevillelutheran.org are my main ones), and would normally consider this a type of black-hat SEO.

But, for such an obscure term as "Zompire Dracularius", to offer any meaningful content to website owners with embedded links would just be pure BS. So I decided for this project to resort to "spamming" around to obtain links. And since Dan took time during class to explain your business, I figured I'd give it a shot and turn to the good nerds at the Nerdery!

Thanks again for helping make www.zompire-dracularius.com the #1 result on Google!

Sincerely,
